Terms and conditions

1. Hyundai Hope Scholarship Program’ is open for Indian Nationals only.

2. The Hyundai Hope Scholarship for Union and State Civil Services Aspirants and Hyundai Hope Scholarship for CLAT Aspirants’ is applicable to candidates from economically weaker sections with family income less than Rs 3 Lacs per annum. The specific details of eligibility criteria and documents required have been given in the website.

3. Eligibility Criteria and documents required for Hyundai Hope Scholarship for young innovators from IITs is given in respective Scholarship page.

4. Preference will be given to Affirmative action groups, Persons with disability, Single parent child, Orphans and Girl children for ‘Hyundai Hope Scholarship for Union and State Civil Services Aspirants and Hyundai Hope Scholarship for CLAT Aspirants’.

5. It is the sole responsibility of a candidate to go through the categories and eligibility criteria.

6. The data collected through the registration process will remain confidential and used for shortlisting candidates for the Scholarship Program.

7. Meeting the eligibility criteria and applying for the Scholarship Program does not guarantee selection of the candidate. The selection process consists of a series of steps for shortlisting and final selection, which will take a few months.

8. Hyundai Motor India Foundation shall not take responsibility for any correspondence with candidates regarding non-selection.

9. Upon successful selection for the Scholarship Program, the candidate will be approached by Hyundai Motor India Foundation and implementation partner Bharatcares.

10. Relevant supporting documents will be required before / on or after allocation of the applicable scholarship amount.

11. The Scholarship Program for specific category will be strictly a time grant and any renewal will be based on discretion of Hyundai Motor India Foundation.

12. Hyundai Motor India Foundation and its implementation partner Bharatcares holds the right to perform internal due diligence for verifying the documents uploaded by the candidate.

13. Hyundai Motor India Foundation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to reject or disqualify any application; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the scholarship, or (c) to change the program based learning; as appropriate.

14. If at any point of time during the period of scholarship or even later it is found that any of the particulars mentioned in the form are/were false and/or misleading or that the candidate has suppressed any material facts, Hyundai Motor India Foundation will be at liberty to withdraw the scholarship allotted to such candidate.

15. No candidate or Individual has to pay any registration or application fee for applying to the Scholarship Program. 

16. The decision of the Company with regard to the Scholarship Program and the declaration of the winners is final and binding.

Online Application

1. Candidates can only register for the event via an online form available at the address https://hyundai.scholarsbox.in/.

2. During their registration process, participants must fill all fields marked (*).

3. Participants thereby guarantee that all the details filled in is correct. 4. When the registration form has been filled in and the data confirmed the system sends     a message to the email address provided in the form, thus confirming the registration. 

Permission to use image

1. During the course of this Scholarship program, Hyundai Motor India Foundation may arrange photo sessions of the selected candidates and may film the course of the event for the purposes of broadcasting in the media (TV, radio, internet, press) or for the purposes of documentation. By applying for Hyundai Hope Scholarship Program, candidates give their implicit permission for the recording, use any/and/or all material dissemination, of each candidate’s image, voice, expression in any promotional materials without limitation of time or territory.

2. This permission means specifically that photo, video and audio recordings taken during the course of this program may be placed on the program website or another website managed by Hyundai Motor India Foundation, as well as used in broadcasting in the media, including by dissemination in audio or video formats. The candidates hereby wave any claims (existing or future), including for compensation from Hyundai Motor India Foundation for such use of their image, voice or expression for the purposes defined hereunder. Final provisions 1. Hyundai Motor India Foundation shall act as the administrator of personal data of the applicants. 2. Personal data of the applicants collected by Hyundai Motor India Foundation during the program shall be processed for the program and evaluation purposes in accordance with the Regulations.

3. Without knowledge and consent of candidates, personal data shall not be transferred to any other data administrators.

4. Hyundai Motor India Foundation and its implementation partner Bharatcares reserves the right to use the email address specified when applying to send notifications to candidates, including about changes in the program.

6. Disputes, if any, shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurugram only.
